超高速A/D转换器是信号分析处理操作系统的关键构成部分。广泛运用于雷达探测、高速宽带数字接收器和高速硬盘。符合各种性能指标要求的超高速A/D转换器的设计方案成为了这类操作系统的重中之重和难点。现阶段,基本上所有的采样率在1GHz以上的超高速A/D转换器都选用并行相对比较(flash)结构。这类A/D转换器具备采样率高、操作系统简单等特点。它是最常见的高速低分辨率(8位以下)结构特征。在并行相对比较结构特征中,最重要的零部件是并行比较器。其性能指标直接关系到操作系统的速度、分辨率、面积积和功耗,是整个A/D转换器设计方案的重中之重。
